It’s a small, cozy restaurant, and I absolutely love their food. Everything on the menu is delicious, and their yogurt drink (a salted fermented yogurt beverage) is amazing. I think it’s fermented. Most importantly, they’re open late, which I love.
Ordered the red lentil soup, the four salad sampler and the mixed plate. The lentil soup was tasty. We enjoyed the Baba Ganoush and Tabbouleh, but the spicy vegetable salad wasn’t our flavor, it has a strong taste. The mixed plate was more than sufficient for two and delicious. The location is cozy and it was packed when we arrived. The staff is friendly. Our only complaint is they don’t offer complimentary water, it comes in bottles and cost $1.75 which we needed after a day around the city.
Some of the best Turkish food I’ve ever had (including food in Türkiyé). They are 100% halal. The atmosphere is very cozy/homey, perfect for a casual dinner out. Despite the restaurant being full and only a single person to manage all the tables as well as the to-go orders, the service was great. We were very well attended to and really enjoyed our evening here. The künefe and the sütlaç were amazing!! Our compliments to the chef. Looking forward to our next visit. Pictured: chicken shish kebab, beef Adana kebab, künefe, sütlaç (rice pudding), and chocolate profiterole.
I advise everyone to visit it, especially the Arab community. The food is delicious and clean, and they have amazing ayran. They have amazing Kunafa.
The soup was amazing and the lahmacun was very delicious! The atmosphere feels just like real places in Turkey, and the waiter was very polite and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant!
This is as good as it gets. Shakir and the rest of the Ali Baba family, thank you for going above and beyond. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
Love ali baba!! Great place for turkish food! Open late and serving fresh amazing dishes all night long. You can’t leave until you finish off with the kunefe! it’s amazing :) Fresh house made yogurt and milk!
